Blog2020 ≫ Yes people are stockpiling

BBC asks "are people stockpiling?", and my answer is yes they are. I just went in Tesco and everyone's trolley was full of toilet rolls. I heard one lady at the checkout justifying it "I heard about this stockpiling of toilet rolls, and I'm not doing that, but it just reminded me I need loads of toilet rolls".

Went to the Inn Doors last night after swimming. Got drenched by a car going fast past a deep puddle, but I had my waterproof trousers on and everything so I was fine. There was proper flooding in Sandgate, it must have gone right up to the front door of the coastguard cottages. It's fine and sunny again today. Hopefully will be again in the morning, as I'm volunteering at parkrun again, and this time taking the boys too.

That Faster Pussycat gig I was going to on Sunday has now been cancelled anyway, so we're not even out of pocket.

Unfortunately Faster Pussycat live in London has been cancelled due to reasons beyond the venue's control. Full refunds will be issued automatically. Still heading to London? Join us for Metalworks! Free Entry at The World's End Camden with all the classics covered from AC/DC to Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Metallica and more from 8:30pm until midnight.

Not sure it is worth me going into London on my own just for that...
