Blog2020 ≫ Where was I?

Feel like I have not updated in ages, not much at all since I've been off following my cataracts operation. I'm back at work today (though working at home) so sat in front of the computer all day and it has reminded me to revisit here.

We went out to the cinema yesterday to see Dolittle. I didn't like it much at all but the boys did. I walked there and back in that extreme weather (why do they give these storms names it seems to make them worse etc). Today is relatively still, from 4° to 10°, and only 47 km/h winds... Yesterday I got properly drenched. I had to stop for shelter in the pub on the way back, of which more later. Febrewery is just about on track following my weekend efforts.

This is nice:

Your switch to Octopus from a standard non-green tariff saves the planet, on average, 700 kg of CO2 every year. That's the same as planting a tree every day for a year, going carless for just under six months, or giving up meat for a year — but your carbon footprint reduction took less than two minutes, and more than likely saved you some cash, too! You can read more about our green efforts on our blog1.
