I think I had a good long night's sleep though disturbed by weird dreams that I now can't remember. Not to bed too late, just trying to check on my Garmin app how my sleep was. Then really didn't want to get up today. I suppose it's just waking up at a point of deeper sleep. Think I can set my alarm to sense when I'm in light sleep and wake me up then but near to my alarm, will give that a go.
Wife was home way before I got in from work yesterday so she had made the tea. Arrabiata on a Wednesday though? Very confusing. We always have this on a Monday, and then the leftovers for Tuesday lunch. Now I have leftovers taunting me as I work from home. I know they're there but I know I cannot eat until I've been out for today's run to avoid getting cramp. Or at least, I can't eat for two hours before the run. So if I was planning to run at 1pm (and I am, it looks lovely out there today) then I have to eat the bowl of delicious spicy pasta before 11am. That's fine isn't it?
Working from home as normal for a Thursday. I'm getting constant email updates from the "accelerated reader" programme. Thing two has learned to game it now, in the same way thing one did. I offered them "stars" for every 100% they get in a reading quiz for their school books. He's going through the system now taking a test on every book he can remember. He will be expecting to trade these for a big armful of sweets when I pick them up from school later, clever boy!
Swimming tonight too, then will watch the second half of the new Vera after dinner.
