Blog2020 ≫ Dry-vegan-runuary day sixteen

Over halfway to my pointless middle age challenge target. As is usual for a Thursday working from home it was hectic and I was late getting out. Just time for me to run in the wind round Sandgate and back. Very breezy, I thought I'd worked out a way to have the wind at my back all the way back but it didn't seem to happen, the wind was mostly blowing onshore. The sea and the beach were mostly blowing onshore too, the path was covered with pebbles from the beach. I just made it back in time to pick the boys up from school. It did mean hanging around the playground in my shorts like a weirdo but it also means everyone looking at me and saying to themselves "what a hero and a legend he is, running every day in January".
