Blog2020 ≫ Robot kitchen

I've installed The IKEA smart GU10 bulbs. They are good and a lot brighter than the old ones LED GU10s that I had. Unfortunately I only got three, a multipack just to try it out, so the kitchen is half automated and half not, half bright and now half looking slightly dim.

The remote control (that you only need for setup / pairing) looks pleasingly like the original iPod control.

I was concerned for a bit I'd have to have one remote control per room, as on the IKEA app my kitchen lights are now linked to the lounge, as this is where I put the first bulb. However when I link it to the Google Home app I can rearrange the rooms again. This also means I can use the smart schedules there too, and have voice control of it all. Nice!

This kitchen is automated!
