After parkrun Clare go the slow train to London, and eventually had a successful day's shopping. She is having new boots for Christmas and she eventually found some. Now for me to find my own christmas present. I mostly know what I'm going to get just trying to find it at the right price.
We went to Ashford for the cinema instead of Folkestone or Dover so as to pop into a toy shop too and get some ideas for christmas. The film was OK, the boys enjoyed it anyway. Animation is very good, the story not so much. The boys stuffed themself with pick and mix, so much so that one got a headache and the other had to hover over a bin until the nausea went away! They recovered quite quickly. We went to Smyths toy superstore and got some good ideas, though not super practical maybe. They're quite set on the idea of a gaming chair, and I like them too. We saw some good smaller things to offer out as ideas for people which was the purpose.
After this both were recovered from their sicknesses so we went back to Nandos and had a lovely tea. We got home again just before Clare got back from London, and we had a quiet night in.
This morning we did junior parkrun, just thing one, and he did not do quite as well as last time. Maybe I held him back. I was this close to being a volunteer, but they didn't need me in the end. I will volunteer soon, I will. After lunch I took thing two out on his bike. A healthy day, makes me feel good.
Making more soup this afternoon, then dinner, then TV, then bed.
