Blog2019 ≫ Crazy weather again today

Really really heavy rain earlier, floodworthy rain, then sunshine. Hard to figure the day out.

I have a date for my cataracts operation, initial consultation is 1st Feb so far at New Hayesbank Surgery1 then the actual op would be either the next day, or within the week. That's the earliest date I could get, and WAT? It is a Saturday and a Sunday! This doesn't really maximise my time off work does it? And it's early so it even messes with a parkrun that day.

By February I should be over fifty parkruns and will have earned my t-shirt, so I might chuck it in by then. Been there, done that, and literally got the t-shirt. I have not been out at all this week, and it being busy Thursday don't think I can today either.

We suggested to thing one that he walk home from school alone today, as he's going to have to get used to it with secondary school coming up. He said, sounds good, but maybe not today.
