He's been very excited about his birthday, and now it's here. We got him a new scooter1, that I think is awesome but he was a little nonplussed about at first. "It's very nice but my old one is still good". Then he had a go on it in the house and he loves it, it's much faster than the old three-wheeler. He got lots of books and lots of money, and a NERF gun rocket launcher from Auntie Kez. It's been confiscated already.
They're at school as normal today I think they make a bit of a fuss of them on birthdays there. There is a birthday hat at least.
Pizza for tea.
The beetle won't start today. I think it might be just damp, there's a lot of condensation out there. I'll try it again at lunch, but I've worked from home again. People will start to think I have left.
Final Dublin Murders was on last night, we can watch it later.
