Blog2019 ≫ Triathlon day

Parkrun a bit slower than normal, though I felt like I was giving it my all, 22'121. I got there a bit late so got a very slow start at the back, maybe that made all the difference.

Swimming after, just me and thing two. He is very keen to practice, thing one is not. Even my deal of "five minutes Nintendo Switch time for each width" didn't tempt him, though thing two did very well out of it.

So with swimming proper widths instead of just messing about, and cycling to and from the parkrun this makes it an actual triathlon. We couldn't swim lengths as the end of the pool is roped off for lessons.

Got my number to pin on my shirt for the Great South Run, it has an RFID chip or something in it, so I guess they will be scanning us.

I should be going out on a long practice run today, though the weather is quite bad.

Clare is at pump class, she's picking up the boys on the way back. Now I'm done with my Glastonbury queueing (bah) I have much tidying and housework to do.
