Blog2019 ≫ Glamping at Glastonbury

The buddies who are still coming to Glastonbury are set on the "pre-erected tents" idea, and it's sounding like the best option to me too. It's not glamping of course, and you do have to pay extras, but; less stuff to carry, less time spent picking a camping spot, less hassle setting up and packing away again, sounds good. Also less risk of environmentally disastrous leaving of tent at the end of the festival¹.

Saw an article about Glastonbury headliners, it was a bit too click-baity for me to link to, and it was only reporting the current bookies favourites, no actualy insider info. They had it that the Spice Girls and Taylor Swift are top favourites to headline, I don't fancy that at all, would be very disappointing. However they also had Fleetwood Mac at very short odds, that sounds a lot more like it. Having a truly dreadful headliner like the Spice Girls would make it easier to see other more interesting bands on other stages. I know nothing about Taylor Swift at all.

¹I have only done this once, at Reading.
