Blog2019 ≫ Hythe traffic at a standstill today

Could not get into work. Traffic just stuck in Hythe for ages. Cars coming the other way were flashing their lights to signal something, but I don't know what. I assume an accident or major blockage up ahead. Luckily I was near a road where I could turn around and come back home via the swimming pool and Princes Parade. So an extra day working from home.

I did take my running gear into work today, planning to go out at lunch, even though the weather is bad. Now I'm at home I may not run quite so far at lunch. But we'll see.

Swimming last night was alright, though he got told off a few times for not listening. His backstroke is good though. Some bonus extra exercise, he decided he'd like to do a triathlon! So we took his bike with us to swimming and went for a bit of a ride before coming home. I ran alongside, so I think that covers the running part, there was not time for him to do more running after. I think they've been doing more exercise at school as he came home wanting to do a Joe Wicks workout on Monday, so we did that too. It also counted as homework.

Ah just remembered some more useful jobs I did at the weekend that I did not mention, I must go back and update. It's important to keep a record of all my achievements here...
