Blog2019 ≫ Strava says that lunch run was my best 5k yet

Delayed lunch, because someone called a last minute meeting. Or more likely planned the meeting well in advance and then someone invited me to it at half hour's notice so no time to go for lunch and everything to pushed back. By the time I did go out it was school pickup time. Jim was doing pick up anyway but I thought I'd say hello. Two ambulances outside the school, not sure why, thing one says someone had an epileptic fit but not sure if that was the cause of the ambulances.

Did just over 5k1 and the Strava says that's my bet one yet. The times don't match up with the best time I know I have done but of course this is estimated based on GPS position, rather than being timed crossing a finish line. Got to be a good thing though. If I'd had more time I could have kept running so it's looking OK for my ten mile run in four weeks. Under four weeks now.

5k: Five km, just over three miles in old money.
