Blog2019 ≫ I did not know Interrail was really still a thing

Wow I assumed it was a thing of the past, and for students only, but I find out from this news story that a) it is still a thing b) it is open to everyone and c) up until today it covered the UK as well! This might literally be just the ticket for our holiday 2020.

Looks like1 we could do seven days within a month for €670 right now. That is any seven days travelling, and the other days would need to be staying somewhere. So could be six days of hard traveling and then stay somewhere a while and then one day travelling home, or something more spread out. Or Fifteen days travelling every day for €886. Or lots of other options.

I will have to see what the man in seat 61 has to say2.
