Blog2019 ≫ Those nervous days waiting for premium bonds money to go in

I had a message from the premium bonds so logged in to check my account. I thought it would be notification of the third of three payments in I had made. But no, premium bonds are a bit slow to update, it was a notification of my small regular pay day payment which went on on Thursday. They have my first two payments but not my third payment yet. I have no reason to believe anything will go wrong but right now it is in limbo, has left my current account but not yet reached my premium bonds account.

Things I am thinking of buying:

Clare says we need new carpets and I think we need a new sofa too. As soon as you start thinking "I have a few quid in my pocket what do we need" you realise you desperately need more than you have the money for. I think I'll keep the spare money in the premium bonds for now.

I made a little more progress on my house plan. But not much. This is still only the ground floor and still not to scale. It's still just practice for me using SVG remember. View the source of the page if you want to see it.
