I have postponed my next Flaming Licks delivery, and also gone down to one every two months, instead of monthly. Not for this reason:
Important information about the August Box Dear Member,
It has come to our attention that one of the sauces in the August box, the 63's Scotch Bonnet and Mango hot sauce, has been exploding when opening.
PLEASE DO NOT CONSUME THIS SAUCE.
Rather because this month the snack was spicy pork scratchings, barf, and one of the sauces was some spicy mayo. Yeah proper dairy mayo with eggs. I know it's not a vegan club, and until now they had no way of knowing I'm a vegan, but Up to now something like nineteen out of twenty things I've had from them have been vegan. Also the fridge is pretty much full anyway, what with the backlog from this chilli subscription, and the sauces we bought in Florida and in Mexico, and those from the food fair, I'm over run.
I have emailed them, and said I will be back when this lot is eaten. Also sent them a suggestion for rating the sauces they do send, I hope they go with it. I hope they go with it with me as the developer on this too. We could make something GREAT if they have enough subscribers, we could work out what's the best chilli sauce in the world.
Writing this having come back from the Inn Doors. Just passed Clare on the doorstep, she going out as I come in. Now I should have a quiet evening, eat my tea (laced with chilli sauce, clear some space) and have a reasonably early night ready for parkrun in the morning. We will see...
