Blog2019 ≫ Good parkrun yesterday

New personal best at the parkrun yesterday (yes I've changed from calling it park run to parkrun like everyone else does) of 22'08. This knocks nine seconds off my previous best. I thought it was going to be a tricky one as they were setting up some vintage vestival along The Leas where we were supposed to be running, with stalls and things all along the path. We all squeezed through, and I gave it a bit extra, and it paid off. Getting under twenty-two seconds is my next target.

Just spotted I beat thing one's old teacher too. Didn't see him there but just found him on on the results for the day1. I say "old teacher", he's only twenty-seven, but this is the one who left to work in a school in Dubai. He must be back for the Summer.

Yesterday we babysat for Emma and Jeff, we all hung out together in the daytime and went to the park, and only Clare did the evening shift. It went well, their two were very well behaved indeed. I'm glad we don't have four kids every day though.

Planning to go and see the Spiderman film this afternoon, and maybe a Pizza Hut treat for these boys too. They want to go swimming too, but not sure we can fit it all in.
