Blog2019 ≫ Chameleon bar and grill

Now we know what is opening at the bottom of the road1, Pan-Indian Street Food Restaurant it says here. This is in what used to be the Raj Bari etc. We got a note through the door inviting us to the opening on Friday. It's being opened by Damian Collins, at 7.30pm. I might come back from the Inn Doors specially.

Speaking of which, been there this afternoon and it was a lovely cool shelter from the sweltering sun. Working backwards, before that I walked from Folkestone, where Clare had dropped me after a day in Canterbury. We had a great lunch in Zizzi, and a very hot time in Toddler's Cove while she shopped. Before that I did a super slow (over twenty five minutes) park run, it didn't feel that bad at the time. I overslept a bit and nearly missed it but still managed to bike there and back. With all this exercise I have done over 20k today.

Last night I was at the Inn Doors again, got there very late because we'd had the school summer fair. The fair was really good and it was a shame to leave there when I did, however I really wanted to go to the pub.

I'd had the afternoon off work to help set up the fair, and also managed to fit in another practice run. For all the good it did me.

20k: Twenty km, just over twelve miles.
