Blog2019 ≫ I have a confirmed leaving date

I am finally changing teams at work (no not leaving work). I've been in the payment team for about four years, most engineers get to move at least once a year, but I've been stuck here for ever. I've delivered some good things but seem to have been stuck on one thing for ages now so it'll be good to move, shake it up a bit. I'm not even physically moving desks and my responsibilities don't change too much but I'll be focussed specifically on multicurrency opportunities instead of generic payment.

Entirely unrelated but I just remembered we have mostly given up palm oil. This was thing one's suggestion based on things he has learned at school and what he's read in The Week Junior. So we check the ingredients of pizzas and crisps and things and only buy the ones that don't include palm oil. This means my peanut butter is more expensive.
