Blog2019 ≫ Blow-out!

Oof, driving in to Folkestone yesterday lunchtime-ish for my fathers' day treat at Luben and pop! Could tell something happened to the car wheel, thought I'd hit the kerb or something but no. Tyre just burst. Luckily I was just parking, and just round the corner from the garage, rather than driving fast. Also luckily the garage could fit me in and replaced that tyre and another. Nice little surprise expense for the weekend though.

Meal was lovely, I had vegan "mac and cheese" with roasted tomato and garlic bread, good. But was it as good as a pizza would have been?

Let's do the weekend pretty much in reverse order then. Last night we watched an old Dalziel And Pascoe and before that we had no tea and watched Spiderman: Homecoming. Before that a cheeky one in the Inn Doors and a walk back from town. Before that the lovely meal at Luben and collecting the car from the garage, and back again to skateboard shopping. We got a skateboard and the safety gear for thing one and he was able to show off his tricks he'd learned at school. He has good balace and I'm very impressed, he wants to go out on it all the time now. We will try the skate park at the weekend.

Clare missed pump, she is still ill, in fact she is off work today still. I have the last knockings of the post holiday dicky tummy but she is exhausted.

Saturday we did all the birthday things that thing one missed because he was on a plane all day. Keeping the backwards theme, we finished up at Kaspa's for waffles and ice creams, before that it was a lovely Nando's and before that awesome climbing at the new click and climb thing in Dover.

My park run was 23:31 a pretty slow one for me, I hope to pick up again next time. Looks like I will miss out this week though as if Clare is well enough she is staying out overnight going to Bon Jovi in London. Aargh I will also miss the Inn Doors too! I did go this Friday, not as early as I like to, but no-one was there anyway, everyone seemingly away.

And that was my weekend in reverse order. This is what the climbing thing in Dover looks like:
