Blog2019 ≫ Good park run, relaxing weekend

Got out of work early, but should I have done? Have left some work incomplete and someone else will have to finish it now. Another hour would not have made a difference, and if I get a chance over the weekend to finish it I will try. Took my new Bulgarian workmate to the Inn Doors, he seemed quite pleased to be immersed in the local culture. The Inn Doors was his very first English pub. Met a load of other friends there and had a great time, but left quite early and headed back home for tea, with a takeway cider.

Up for the park run, good conditions for it but I got a very slow start. If it was not for the log jam at the beginning I'd have beaten my best time, as I was only twenty seconds off it. Cycled home again and then headed back into town for lunch at Planet Earth Kitchen with the boys. Service a bit slow today, though we were not in a hurry. I had a coffee which was not good so won't order that againj. Just a quiet evening in after that watching an old Midsomer Murders.

Today we have done chores then walked into Sandgate for coffee and cake at Orchard Lane, and then one pint at the Inn Doors. Will have to see what excitement tomorrow's bank holiday and the half term week off brings us...
