Blog2019 ≫ New Folkestone park run pb

Was a good run this morning1, 22:44 which is only seven seconds off my best time that I achieved in Whiteley a few weeks ago. Pleased with that! I didn't feel I was thrashing it at all so I suspect I could beat my time soon.

After the run we went to Ashford, scouting out some new trainers for number one son as he is a couple of centimetres too short for some of the theme park rides he wants to go on. Can we get him over the line with some big platform soles? We think we can do it, with new trainers and some insoles too. While we were there we had a lovely lunch in Wagamamas, I had steamed buns on the side this time, they were good. Wagamamas feels too expensive to me.

Nice short night out last night, I went to the Inn Doors after work but home again before the boys went to bed.

I'm off to see Squeeze and Heaven 17 at the Leas Cliff Hall. A friend suggested it, so why not. Gigs are expensive these days aren't they? Everything is expensive.
