Blog2019 ≫ Sick boy nearly made it to school

He was dressed and ready for school, pe kit on ready for a golf session at school. Just heading down the stairs and SPEW. So whatever this bug is it has not passed. I had to drag him to school anyway to deliver the other one, but after that another day in front of the TV (for him only, not me). And much the same for him tomorrow, though work for me, Clare is off.

We are not going swimming today, and then that must be it for half term.

I had a bonus night out last night, as I bumped into a friend while out for a walk. Ben had just finished work when I was walking past his house in Sandgate, so we went for a drink. First The Ship, then to the Inn Doors for one too. Both were very quiet indeed. Lovely to catch up and hear the inside story of when Docker and the Harbour Arm were on that James Martin programme the other day.

Back to the Inn Doors for me tomorrow, so better stay in tonight.
