Super windy out, enough to knock recycling bins over in the street. Not ours though luckily. I was expecting a bad ride in, but along the canal path it was OK. Storm Gareth apparently. Why must they give them names? It only seems to make them worse. The rain had mostly stopped too so my waterproof trousers were a bit redundant. If the wind stays the same direction it will be a tougher ride home. I get back just in time for swimming, and both boys have to come with me today as Clare is going out. It is the twins eighteenth birthday today, happy birthday girls.
Fifteen years ago this very day I was reviewed in The Guardian, and it's still available online. That must have been way past the peak of popex surely? Still, cuh, remember when national newspapers thought the work I was doing was worth a mention?
My Ayegear hoodie has been dispatched. Having read more reviews I'm now worried it's going to be way too big, but I estimated a large to get the right sleeve length.
