Blog2019 ≫ My little Masterchef

We've been watching Masterchef, and now number two son has decided to become a chef. He came up with an idea for a dinner, chicken, with mushrooms and courgettes and peppers on top, and then Clare and he made it, and it was a great success! I don't think they would have eaten this dinner if it weren't for being invested in it. Next they're trying lemon meringue pie. I hope this keeps up, just for the trying new foods angle if nothing else.

I made a sort of paella for the second time this week, and it was very good.

Also Keith Flint, so sad. I remember him rolling across the crowd in a giant hamster ball at Bug Jam.

Also I remember why Saturday's park run was not as good as normal - my phone wasn't charged, so I had nothing to listen to while I ran. I was carrying slightly less weight, no phone or headphones, but it's a bit more boring with only the sound of other runners heavy breathing to listen to.
