Blog2019 ≫ New park run personal best

Had a good park run today, and a new pb of 23'10 so very pleased with that. Felt I had more in me too, so there is room to improve, there is a sub-twenty-three minutes due before the summer. They were calling for entrants for the Folkestone ten mile run, can I do that? Will have a think about it over the next few weeks.

Went to the Fountain and the Britannia last night for a change, nice to chat with a friend about stuff but neither of those pubs are up to much. Today after lunch we went in to Folkestone, Clare and thing two drove in and thing one and I cycled in. He didn't enjoy it much so we put his bike in the back of the car and I came back alone. I was also keen to go to a cafe but no-one else was... so naturally I took the opportunity to a) stop at Orchard Lane and had a lovely banana and peanut butter loaf, and then it seemed rude not to go in the Inn Doors as I still had an hour or so free. Rugby was on and friends were in there so I really had to tear myself away.

Made a lovely sort-of-paella for tea out of odds and ends.
