A different kind of excuse today. I did go running this morning, I did set my alarm correctly, I did not snooze through it, it was not raining, I did not forget my kit, the dog did not leave my trainers on the bus. But man alive it was hard work. I started off OK, ran to Hythe fairly happily along the main road, turned at Waitrose, and back along Princes Parade. But then the pain kicked in, a slight feeling in my knee and in my hip. Just in case it was going to turn into something serious, I stopped, about half way back, so about three-quarters of the way through my 5k.
I may go out again in the morning, or I may leave it another day just to be sure.
5k: Five kilometres, about three miles to you.
