Blog2018 ≫ Bit too cold and a bit too dark

Colder out there this morning, so a run was good to warm up. But really, a bit too cold, and also a bit too dark. Sun was not even up by the time I got back today. Next time out it's going to be really dark. So what is the solution? A head torch? Leggings or something??? I am not keen to put long trousers on even for the office and things in the winter, I don't want to have to wear tights or whatever out exercising.

I'm not running along roads so am in no real danger of traffic but it would be handy to be able to see a bit better, I think I trod on something soft today along the canal path.

Did my normal run to Waitrose and back along Prince Parade, but not the extended version, so it comes in at slightly less than 5k. Although I do think my last little bit running round the petrol station confuses my GPS as my run time dips dramatically right at the end. Bit slower today, that's the cold I think.

Still plotting my trip away in only my shorts pockets, confident I can do it.

5k: Five kilometres, just over three miles in old money.
