Not me this time! Had been singing the praises of my emergency battery starter1 to another member of old banger club at work - he has a Mini, and it's not an old banger at all. Coincidentally, come the end of the day, he had left his lights on and his battery had gone flat. We could not start his car with my jump starter, don't know why. It provided some power, enough to turn his lights on, but not enough to start the Mini. Someone else had some jump leads and we started him from my Beetle, so all good. Hoping my jump starter is OK, don't want to find out it won't start the beetle next time I need it, I will have to find a way to test it.
