Blog2018 ≫ Still doing old school web design

I'm trying to keep it interesting by doing it in React, which made me realise I have not done any for ages and I have forgotten it. What I have not forgotten feels outdated already. Javascript frameworks move so fast.

I'm sure I came here to write something for a reason, but I can't remember what it was now.

At least my "disastrous day" from yesterday fell back into place, everything more or less started working again. Spoke to a few people who were having the same problem and had solved it in different ways, and that made me realise it was not my problem.

Also on the topic of work, seems we are about ready to move into our new building. It has the name "The Reef", and is next to the building I'm in now. I hear our team are moving over there, still not sure what to expect as I have not been on the tour. I can see from here there are huge curvy desks (of the type we got rid of from this building as they're not an efficient use of space) and I hear there are lots of small stand up meeting rooms.

javascript: Programming language of the internets, mostly how I make my living.
