Blog2018 ≫ Gitlab is moving from Microsoft Azure to Google Cloud Platform

This makes no difference to this site 1, it is not hosted on either of these, but it is interesting. I discovered Gitlab 2 at the time Github was aquired by Microsoft (though didn't move for that reason) and an interesting point about the people who did move because of the Microsoft purchase was that they were then moving to a platform that was actually hosted by Microsoft. This changes that, away from Microsoft, and back to the Google.

I only spotted this because I tried to push some content up this morning and find Gitlab is down for maintenance, as part of this move.
