The hottest day of the year in some parts of the country, was proper holiday warm down here. Lots of people on the beach (why weren't they at work?) and people in the sea too. I had a short walk at lunchtime as I had to do the school pickup today, then got to go out again at the end of the day. And I might go out again in a minute as it's so nice. Clare is out walking again now on her new regular route off through the woods, but I will stick to the beach. I'm sat with number one son (who is up too late) watching the end of the Portugal vs Iran, pretty exciting stuff.
