Nice trip out for lunch, and got a few freebies to boot.
First I took Thing One in Games Workshop, just to see if it might interest him (it did me) and he was given a free miniature figure in there. They don't make them out of metal any more! Still, nice, and he seemed pleased.
Next lunch in Zizzi, was all very good but our mains were cold when they arrived. We've had that in the Canterbury one before, meals can easily get left on the side for too long. When our bill came they gave us all our drinks free, and drinks would have been about half the bill as SOMEONE had two glasses of wine.
Finally in Lush, Thing two had been a bit under the weather since before lunch. They saw he wasn't happy in there and gave him a free "cheer up buttercup" bath bomb. So he's pleased too! Also a dose of calpol and he's fine again.
Now home, lovely and sunny still, think I will mow the lawn.
