Just back from a splendid weekend at Mum and Dad's. Had a fairly rotten drive down there, bad weather, bad visibility, many accidents. We ended up taking a detour via West Horsley because of holdups on the M25 and A3 and got there for a latish lunch.
Went to see Nan in hospital she could have seemed worse all things considered.
Lots of good things about the weekend, eating and drinking and shopping and a splendid roast dinner today. Had a very good drive back today, have got all unpacked in record time and am sitting and relaxing. About 10% thinking about getting a takeaway for tea, but I bet I am not bothered to go out.
Also just bought a scottevest top on the ebay. Not sure it's going to fit, and it might be pink when I thought it was red, but it was well cheap. If it doesn't fit me, Clare is keen.
