I have been reading the rich and the profane a Lovejoy novel seemingly for a year now, but surely only since our holiday actually. I read several books when we went to Corfu, and just about only this one since. It's not a great book, and I've read most of it before but I don't like to give up on one once I've started. Had a lot of time just sitting, with the remnants of this man flu so finally finished it. So now, on to something of quality, or, another Simon Kernick that I got in a charity shop? I really enjoyed the last one. Maybe proper literature next time...
Went to town today, in the elato cafe for really quite expensive coffee and cake, and to Waterstones for the boys to spend some Christmas money on full price books. Oh no not the reduced-to-99p annual that daddy recommended...
