Blog2017 ≫ Santa Special on Saturday was good

The RHDR "santa special" was good, a nice bright day but not windy or rainy so fine for getting that miniature railway. The boys were not super impressed with the ride there, it was busy and they had reserved childrens seats that they were a bit squeezed into. Still, fun, and then a spread of snacks immediately on arrival too that they liked. We all enjoyed the miniature railway exhibition at New Romney too, then queueing to see Santa in his grotto. One of the boys was particularly displeased with his gift, ungrateful monster, I think he thought that Santa should know that he doesn't like Fireman Sam any more, if he got it so badly wrong that day will he get it wrong on christmas day too? His magic let him down here. The other gift also went into the charity shop yesterday, it's the thought that counts though.

They even had a snow machine at New Romney station, it was lovely.

I walked home from Hythe, my step count is still over 10k every day since I've had this fitbit, pretty much every day this year I think.

10k: Ten kilometres, just over six miles to you. Sometimes talking about 10,000 steps though, an arbitrary daily step count target.
