Mouse has not been back, not troubled the trap. The boys were not too traumatised to find Jackie in the mouse trap. I don't think. Time will tell.
Our led reindeer keeps blowing over, and when it does its head falls off. Our neighbour thought it had been vandalised, as he'd seen some kids sat outside our house, but no, just the wind. I can see on my security camera updates the moment it blew over this morning... More trouble than it is worth so far.
