Blog2017 ≫ Too busy with work to write much

Number one son has an assembly at school today, parents are invited but we are both working. I said I can take some time out to come along if he'd like me to but he doesn't seem to mind, so I'm not going. He's so thoughtful and sensitive at times I can see him weighing up "do I want someone there" with "should I ask them to take time out of work". He doesn't have a speaking role in it so it's not too bad. I'll be there for prize day and the christmas play mate!

WFH today, trying to track down booking errors in our system. Have spent a lot of time cleaning up the errors to make sure we're reporting the right things - there were some scary duplicates that made it look like there were more problems than there really are. Have hopefully pinpointed it now, spotting a pattern in the strangeness.

Getting ready for number two son's birthday party at the weekend too, hope he likes his cake what I have designed and is being picked up from the shop tomorrow.
