Blog2017 ≫ Good trip to Mum and Dad's

Went straight after school on Friday, took the afternoon off, so were waiting outside the school ready to race off. But they needed the toilet and I had forgotten my trainers, so went back to the house anyway. Not a dreadful run down but chocka leading up to Guildford, regular rush hour stuff though.

To the Seagull for our dinner, was quite good really, though that place is too hectic for me. Is dead cheap though we got meals for six for twenty-five quid or less. And no-one had anything stolen on this visit on the Friday...

Kez had the idea to try a local website for spare tickets for the cider festival and it worked out, I walked round to someone's house there and then to get two tickets with the promise of one more from someone else being delivered in the morning. Isn't the internet brilliant?

We had plenty to drink on the Friday to be house, the house white in the Seagull was quite nice, a blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.

Saturday morning we went to Westbury Manor as they had an Egyptian display and number one son is doing that at school, and we got some new clothes for the boys too, well Mum generously bought them more Mario t-shirts.

Home for lunch, then they all went out to Keydell Nurseries for a spooky Halloween walk (which was a bit much for the boys) while I waited in watching The A-Team on TV waiting for my other ticket to be delivered.

More on the actual cider event later, busy now...
