Blog2017 ≫ Great day at the Olympic Park yesterday

Clare wanted to shop, she has exhausted all the shops in a fifty mile radius so we had to go to Stratford. And it was great! We went round the Olympic Park, all exploring it together for a while. Then she headed into Westfield for some retail therapy, and we explored further. We didn't get quite as far as the bit we were aiming for, it is huge, but we went on a self driving bus and lots of play equipment. We got caught up in the crowds a bit and nearly ended up inside West Ham vs Swansea, but just avoided that. Then back into the super busy shopping centre again to go in a few shops (including the Lego store) and a Pizza Express for a late lunch.

Very busy high speed train up there, so though we were there in forty-five minutes we were sat on each others laps. It was the football train back too, so thought we might have to stand, but we got lucky.

Things I particularly liked about the outing:

A great day, we should do this again.

Pictures in the usual place.
