Leave a message here1, plenty of people already have, regarding ripping up the seafront road Princes Parade and the land beside it for new housing, and moving the road to the edge of a scheduled monument (Royal Military Canal) so that the new luxury apartments for out of town second home owners can have direct beach access...
The comments are split between my type of comment (see above) and "hurrah we need a new swimming pool hurry up with this" from Hythe Aqua and other people who are believing the lies about a new leisure centre being at the heart of this and the houses just to make it pay... We all know it's houses first, and unlikely a new leisure centre would ever be built.
