Blog2017 ≫ Bike ride to West Hythe

Fitbit sort of worked with my phone to track the route back from the awesome Unit One bar we went to today. I cycled there while the others took their bikes in the car, then we did a gentle walk and cycle along by the zoo. Found ruins of a Roman fort that I did not know existed, Stutfall Fort / castle, in the grounds of Lympne Castle. Then a couple of ciders in the bar, then I cycled home too. Fitbit only tracked the journey home, something went wrong on the way out, quite smart though.

Got some takeout from Unit One too of their rhubarb cider, very good indeed! Clare was driving so she could only have a taste, so we got a few points to bring home. Bit of a mix up, we ended up with six, as I didn't realise Clare has also bought some. We'll manage. I also had a regular Weston's when I first got there, waiting for them to arrive, and a cherry cider after our little walk. A proper treat.
