Blog2017 ≫ Twenty years ago today I was at KISS

The only time I saw KISS was this Finsbury Park event. I might not even have gone, if it wasn't for free tickets from NME, who I'd been working for for about a year by now. We all went in the office, a good event, a sunny day as I remember it, lots to drink in the sunshine. Support from Rage Against The Machine, Skunk Anansie, Thunder, Three Colours Red and L7, all of whom I was too cool to watch at that time. I did not even stay for all of KISS, I ducked out to meet Ro at some pub we always used to go to in Covent Garden and drink Hoegarden.
