Blog2017 ≫ Saturday the journey home

Always seems to be a flying visit to Mum and Dad's, going out for breakfast so we could leave Saturday lunchtime gave us some time we needed at home though. Went to the Harvester that used to be the Mermaid as it's good for breakfast options. Theoretically all you can eat, but in practice they just run out of things or don't put them out. I'm sure they were meant to have soya milk but they had no knowledge of this. Still nice though to all sit together and relax.

Journey home was fine, yet another nice sunny day how long can it last? Number two son slept most of it still a bit under the weather, this meant number one son was particularly well behaved as he had no-one to annoy.

Picked up the beetle from Volksfarmers, they had fitted the new wing mirror, sun visors, fixed the wipers and the fuel gauge. The latter was a last minute "oh yeah this has never worked" addition from me, all done simply though and not too expensive. The car is possibly in its best shape ever right now.
