Blog2017 ≫ #notastagdo weekend was awesome

Obviously what happens on a notastagdo stays on a notastagdo. But as a group of now middle aged men we were quite sedate. Notastagdo as that is what the "not a stag" was calling it. It's second time around, and they actually got married last month, so it was a gentle gathering of like minded types who all used to be teenagers together. And very nice it was too.

I left work a bit early, and drove there Friday afternoon. Train was looking too much hassle or too expensive, car seemed easiest, so I left the family without transport for the weekend and headed off in the Peugeot. Mostly an easy run, but a lorry had flipped over on the other side of the A3 just north of the Hindhead tunnel. Can't find it in the news but must have been a big one. Got to Mum and Dad's in time for a delicious tea then a stroll out to the Delme! Met some friends in there, I knew they were going to be at the Cob and Pen earlier in the evening but they were running late so we all coincided, nice. Stayed up too late.
