Blog2017 ≫ We had our dessert in Steep Street

After lunch we all walked and scooted down to the harbour arm again - I've said it before I'm sure but there seems to be less going on there this year. It is a temporary hiccup while they build more infrastructure there. Possibly it's just the same and it's just that I expected more so it feels like less. Anyway will be back bigger and better next year, there might even be more there once we get into proper summer, there is room for more pop-ups.

Stopped in Steep Street on the way back up, I love that place. I always have the vegan snickers type dessert, dark chocolate and a whole lot of peanuts, peanut butter and peanut brittle. It's great that in Folkestone now it's possible to hop from good place to good place, it's almost like the whole place is good. If you close your eyes and ears as you go through the centre of town, through the crappy market, then it's great.

Tried to support the real book shop but they did not have the books the boys were looking for in Waterstones. Will keep trying, but might end up ordering them online...
