We were up early, Clare was working, so she dropped is in Sandgate on the way at the park on Military Road. A reasonably enjoyable play on the equipment there, but both boys took the opportunity to fall and hurt themselves, so was cut a bit short. A nice walk and scoot back through Enbrook Park (the Saga gardens) and then home via Comemos deli cafe. It's wasted on them, I must learn, their eyes are bigger than their bellies in there but it's nice for me. I must remember to go there and just sit with a book, instead of heading only to Inn Doors when I have a spare hour.
Sandgate is really nice right now, I hope all these new business can last. As well as Comemos and the Inn Doors there's some new dog themed cafe and a seamstress and of course the pizza place that we haven't tried yet. I suppose all the new flats that will be popping up along the front will help support these businesses.
We tried to walk back one row back from the sea front, I've never been up there before. The boys were not keen to break the routine though. They like to scoot back on the front as far as Brewers Hill and then go up there "the secret way" to Hospital Hill and then home.
