I did buy myself some stuff too, nothing too exciting, no actual toys to play with. But, no more flat batteries I hope. Bought an Anker 10000mAh powerbank1 for my phone, or for any other usb device really. Should give me emergency power on the go when the phone battery is flat and I can't plug in. Remember that time I got a flat battery and couldn't phone Clare to let her know because my phone battery was also dead? Should not happen again now. It's good, lots of juice, but a bit too heavy to carry in my pocket the whole time. I've got my new little purse now of course but this takes up most of the space too so this is one for my bag day to day. Hope I'll have it with me when I need it, I can definitely transfer it to the pocket or pouch if I'm off out somewhere without my bag.
I also got an emergency car battery starter too2 so next time I leave the lights on on the Beetle this should get me going again. Can also use this to charge the phone if I needed to, so with that in the car and the Anker in my bag I should be good. Next time I'm shopping I might get me a smaller one3 too that I can keep in my pocket all the time.
