Went to a few of these, this was my first one. It was hosted by Mark and Lard, Mark Radcliffe and Marc Riley, and they even did some of their songs. This was in the days before they actually made a proper album 1 of it all.
I think Michael Eavis won the god-like genius award that year. Can sort of remember patches of this, I think I was supposed to be working it, were we recording it? Or updating the nme.com website live from there? There was no streaming video then like there would be now, but there is some coverage of this one on youtube 2... haven't watched it all yet wonder if I'm in the background anywhere?
