It's like the excitement when the care tachometer ticks over from 49,999 to 50,000 (which happened on our way back from Mum and Dad's this week) but even more exciting. The mortgage will tick over a big digit, but it's going downwards of course. Still five digits, still got ten years to go at the current rate of payment, but it's always nice to see the first digit getting lower. Like the difference in price between 9.99 and 10, it's a big psychological difference.
Got to work a little at the weekend so am finishing a bit earlier today to make up. Also started earlier so will be finishing at 4pm nice!
