Been looking at a lot of pocket tools and every day carry stuff recently, keep coming across these multi-tools1 again and again and struggling to figure out what they're for. Doesn't have many functions on it though there's a little spanner in there. Also looks too heavy. Is it for hooking on your belt and hanging your keys off? Took me ages to figure out what it's main use is their homepage2 gives more of a clue, though they are very clear:
